Esposizione - vendita, ad ingresso libero, di un'accurata selezione del meglio nel campo dell'accessorio Vintage: borse, scarpe, bijoux, orologi, cappelli, piccola pelletteria, valigeria, cinture, foulards ed altro ancora sia da donna che da uomo. Il tutto nello splendido ed entusiasmante contesto della Coppa dei Tre Laghi con la gara di regolarità più prestigiosa d'Europa ed il suo glorioso raduno di auto d'epoca gemellato con il Comune di Maranello di cui gode anche del patrocinio assieme a Regione Lombardia, Provincia, Comune e Camera di Commercio di Varese, CONI, A.S.I., Automobilismo Storico Alfa Romeo, Associazione Città dei Motori e Museo Flaminio Bertone.
Gli accessori provenienti da tutti i continenti, datati anni '40-'50-'60-'70-'80, forniscono un ampio panorama sull'autentico Vintage di qualità, bello da vedere e da indossare. Lo "Shopping Show " dedicato alla moda d'epoca è un'opportunità imperdibile per condividere un ritorno al passato e per ridisegnare un futuro nell'abbigliamento all'insegna dell'originalità, dell'eleganza e della qualità.
Sarà Habitare a firmare l'intero mobilio impreziosendo con "pezzi unici" di interior design la sede della mostra - mercato Vintage Workshop® - speciale accessori d'epoca - organizzato e curato dall'Associazione Culturale Ricercatori Moda d'Epoca con il prezioso apporto logistico di Consel Divisione Eventi. Habitare è un marchio di qualità che ben si sposa con un evento all'insegna di originalità, creatività e storia.
La mostra-vendita sarà aperta con ingresso libero
nei giorni venerdì 8 e sabato 9 maggio 2009 dalle ore 10.30 alle ore 20.30 e domenica 10 maggio dalle 10.30 alle 18.30 (continuato)

Qualche notizia sulla Coppa dei Tre Laghi.
La gara si svolgerà lungo un percorso di 230 km, che attraverserà 35 Comuni della provincia di Varese e 15 località Svizzere.
In gara saranno presenti 150 equipaggi, che si adopereranno in 43 prove cronometrate, 6 controlli orari, 10 controlli timbro ed una prova speciale notturna.
Il complesso degli eventi (oltre 40) che va sotto il nome di Varese Campo dei Fiori prevedrà dal 2 al 10 maggio 20098 un ricchissimo carnet di appuntamenti, mostre, istallazioni, esposizioni, tra le quali "Vetrine d'autore", che nei negozi di Varese proporrà allestimenti artistici sotto il comune denominatore dell'epoca, il "Brutale on tour", che permetterà al pubblico di provare due celebri modelli della moto MV Agusta (Brutale 989R e Brutale 1078RR) e "Drive Vision", un progetto di guida sicura. Ed ancora una vera e propria sfilata delle mitiche Citroën 2 Cavalli, musica e arte visiva, spettacoli di tango, notturni musicali, balli ai giardini Estensi e molto altro ancora.

VINTAGE WORKSHOP® UPCOMING EVENTS
PROGRAM
La prima sessione del Vintage Workshop si svolgerà dal 4 al 6 febbraio 2009 con orari 9/20, apertura a tutti e ingresso libero. Il giorno martedì 3 febbraio sarà riservato a ricevere su appuntamento gli stilisti e i buyers che ne faranno preventiva richiesta; per le modalità fare riferimento al seguente articolo. In esposizione per la vendita saranno presentati migliaia di accessori Vintage fra borse, scarpe, cinture, piccola pelletteria, valigeria, foulard, cappelli, costumi.
Per i clienti già in essere sarà inoltre visibile su richiesta la nuova selezione d’archivio accessori P/E d'epoca per il noleggio con pick-up direttamente in loco. I colori e i temi proposti per la primavera/estate 2010 saranno dischiusi direttamente presso l’Admiral Hotel durante le giornate espositive sia mediante prototipia vintage sia su cartelle stampa che potranno essere richieste solo in loco e fino ad esaurimento.
La seconda sessione del Vintage Workshop, programmata dal 2 al 4 marzo con orari 9/20 ed ingresso libero prevedrà l’esposizione-vendita di alcune migliaia di accessori Vintage fra borse, scarpe, cinture, piccola pelletteria, valigeria, foulard, cappelli con preponderanza di calzature e borse. L’assortimento di questa 2a data sarà completamente diverso dalla 1a, pertanto si consiglia la visita di entrambe le manifestazioni. Inoltre, la 2a sessione servirà anche di approfondimento e conferma dei temi più richiesti nella prima sessione di anteprima e accluderà anche una nuova selezione di articoli vintage per rispondere a richieste mirate espresse dai clienti la 1a settimana di febbraio, questo nell’ottica di offrire un servizio sempre più efficiente. Vintage Workshop è cresciuto con questo obiettivo fondamentale e nella massima riservatezza, grazie a questo da alcune stagioni riceve la visita delle migliori 300 Aziende al mondo attive nel settore del prêt-à-porter e dell’alta moda.
PER IL PUBBLICO: Vintage Workshop ha sempre salutato favorevolmente anche visitatori non professionali purchè appassionati di Vintage ed il team di espositori è particolarmente orgoglioso del fatto che alcuni esemplari unici e irripetibili di capi e accessori Vintage siano ora nelle mani di privati. Il motto, salvo il giorno martedì 3 febbraio ed eccettuate le richieste mirate della clientela, sarà sempre “first come first served”. Si ricorda ai gentili visitatori - ivi compresi gli addetti ai lavori della moda - che, a tutela delle modellerie e della clientela in essere e futura, le riprese fotografiche e video sono severamente vietate. Siamo sicuri che questa decisione presa sin dal sorgere di Vintage Workshop, 15 edizioni fa, sia stato decisivo per il successo della manifestazione almeno quanto la qualità elevatissima di ricerca degli esemplari esposti. Vintage Workshop è l’unica esposizione esistente in Italia dove gli espositori “aprono” i propri archivi di ricerca lontano dalle loro rispettive sedi.
The first session of the Vintage Workshop will take place from February 4 through to Feb. 6 2009 with opening times 9 a.m./8 p.m. and free admission. Tuesday Feb. 3rd will be reserved to designers and buyers who will have requested in advance an individual appointment; in order to set a date, they can refer to the directions detailed in the following link. On show there will be thousands accessories for sale among with vintage purses, shoes, belts, fancy leather goods, luggage, scarves, hats, swimwear. Customers will also have the opportunity to see on request the new archive acquisitions of period accessories for the S/S season available for rentals with direct pick-up on the event spot. Colours, shades and themes proposed for the Spring/Summer season 2010 will be disclosed directly at the Admiral Hotel during the show days through both vintage exemplars and press kits (while supplies last).
The second session of the Vintage Workshop, planned from March 2 through to 4 with opening times 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and free admission, will consist in the exhibition and sale of thousands vintage accessories among with handbags, shoes, belts, little leather items, luggage and week-ender bags, scarves, hats, with predominant quantity and gamut of proposals dedicated to shoes and purses. Besides, the 2nd session will be useful as a development into depths and further confirm of the most requested themes in the February session. There will also be a particular selection of vintage items whose vision will be restricted to customers who especially expressed their individually focused requests during the first session or even before. This supplementary service will be offered as a “plus” aimed at giving an even more efficient performance accordingly with our customer-oriented philosophy. In principal, Vintage Workshop has grown with this goal of protecting any information as strictly confidential; thanks to this fact, the show welcomes each season the top 300 Fashion Companies in the world from both Ready-to-Wear and High Fashion branches.
FOR THE PUBLIC: Vintage Workshop has always favourably welcome non professional visitors too, if really fond of Vintage. The exhibitors team is proud that some of the most unique one-of-a-kind exemplars of vintage dresses and accessories are now in good hands of private people. Our motto, except for the 1st day, Tuesday February 3rd and the focused requests by clients, will always be on a “first come first served” basis. We remind visitors – included fashion operators – that, due to our firm goodwill of protecting design models and samples as well as a defense of our highly reputable client Companies, video and photo shootings are strictly forbidden. We are confident that this decision, taken since the first Vintage Workshop was born 15 editions ago, has been challenging to determine the show success in the same proportion as the variety of items exhibited which have been hunted and researched to meet the highest quality stands and the most demanding creative exigencies. Vintage Workshop is the only Italian Vintage show where non-resident exhibitors allow to “open” their vintage research archives._______________________________________________________
